Described as the ‘ultimate interior event for designers, tastemakers, architects and style seekers’ London Design Week 2014 starts Sunday 9th March at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour.

Birch & Brook stockist Tissus d’Hélène, whose boutique London showroom at Chelsea Design Centre is a veritable feast of artisanal fabrics and wallpapers, is a must visit during the event.

Helen Cormack started Tissus d’Hélène in 2006 and the showroom now hosts a diverse selection of exquisite hand-blocked or hand screen-printed prints including silks, linens, hand embroideries and velvets, many of which can be custom made for specific design projects.

Some of this year’s themes are Flora, Fauna and Botanical Drawings, with new designs, textures and colours to inspire and sew the seeds of redecoration.

Birch & Brook’s Secret Garden Candle nestles among the beautiful textures and designs, capturing the delicate notes of mandarin flower, peony, hyacinth and lily of the valley with a complex base of musk, vetiver and heliotrope.

This air of spring is complemented by Tissus d’Hélène’s linen fabrics ‘Butterflies’ by Danish designer Tapet Café and ‘Turtle Bay’ by American Katie Ridder and two new wallpapers by John Derian for Studio Printworks—‘Tropical Birds’ and ‘Sea Plants’…
